What makes Todd A. Becker a Global Shaker?

As president, CEO, and director of Green Plains, American entrepreneur Todd A. Becker currently leads one of the largest green energy firms in the world.

Prior to becoming involved with Green Plains, Todd acted as Executive Vice President of Sales and Trading at Global Ethanol. With over 27 years of experience in commodity processing and supply chain management in agricultural markets, he was placed in a prime position to lead what is today recognized as one of the global pioneers of ethanol as a form of “green energy.”

The company’s ethanol production segment includes the production of ethanol, distilled grains, and corn oil recovery at 17 ethanol plants across the USA.

At full capacity, Green Plains processes approximately 524 million bushels of corn each year, whilst producing approximately 1.5 billion gallons of ethanol, 4.1 million tons of distillers grains and 340 million pounds of industrial grade corn oil, making Green Plains the second-largest consolidated owner of ethanol plants in North America.
