Rahul Narayan is the founder of Team Indus, an Indian company focused on delivering the world’s first private moon landing.
The company is made up of professionals from backgrounds in science, technology, finance and media. It was awarded a $1m prize by Google’s Lunar X Prize in 2015 for demonstrating a proposed lunar landing system.
In an interview with Space Tech Expo, Narayan was clear that space is populated by an ecosystem of companies and initiatives working together. “Space has always been that way. We always talk about space being so expansive and so complicated that space is about coopertition — you compete in some things you collaborate on other things,” he said.
“At the end of the day you’re all colleagues or peers, and I’ve seen that happen even at a smaller company scale.”
Prior to Team Indus, Narayan was Chief Executive of IdeActive Consulting.Tags: aerospace engineering, India, space exploration
