What makes Nicolas Durand a Global Shaker?
Nicolas Durand is the CEO of the nanotechnology powered biotech firm Abionic – based in Switzerland. His research and innovation form the core of the company’s most important product; the abioSCOPE.
The device is composed of more than 60 nano-sensors which allow fast and easy analysis of blood samples. The other half of the product called the abioGUIDE then reads the data and presents the blood test report in less than five minutes.
Nicolas came up with the idea of the nanotech product while he was completing his PhD thesis at the Swiss federal institute of technology. The company is presently making products to test allergies and major deficiencies in the blood.
