Wang Hong, also known as Frank Wong, has since 2014 been President of one of the largest photovoltaic enterprises in China, Risen Energy. The company – recognised as one of Reuters’ Top 100 Global Energy Leaders — operates thousands of projects worldwide, including in Indonesia, India, Nepal, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic.
In recent years, Risen Energy’s Innovative Research Centre has received widespread acclaim for exceeding 330W with the power of 60 black silicon polycrystalline half-cells.
The Peking University graduate previously served as a Hydraulic Centre Mechanical Engineer at the Shougang Group, before acting as Vice President of Lightway Green New Energy and General Manager of Shandong Linuo Photovoltaic High-tech Company.
