What started as a streetwear blog in 2005 has led to the lifestyle publication Highsnobiety, which produces daily content on music, the arts, fashion and culture. The online publication boasts some 500 million social media impressions and nine million unique visitors a month, and German CEO and publisher David Fischer now oversees offices in Berlin, New York and London.
Always several steps ahead of the crowd, the publication has built a strong brand in the fashion and lifestyle and is one of the most authoritative international voices on streetwear and youth culture.
Profitable since its launch, its revenue over the last three years has grown a hundred per cent, year on year. In 2015, growing demand for brand partnerships led Fischer to set up Highsnobiety Plus, an in-house creative agency, which works with global luxury brands.
In January 2018, the company raised an $8.5 million Series A round to help expand its branded content, e-commerce and events businesses.
