What makes David Christian a Global Shaker?
David Christian is the co-founder of Evoware, an Indonesian socially responsible enterprise producing eco-friendly alternatives to plastic food packaging made from farmed, edible seaweed. An innovative entrepreneur with a business background in Canada, David leads the sales and marketing team and is responsible for ensuring that Evoware achieves its social and environmental impact goals.
Evoware’s most popular product Ello Jello is a seaweed-based cup which is bio-degradable and edible.
Launched in April 2016, Ello Jello is the first product by Evoware founded by then 23-year-old David Christian. He along with other four founders share the same goals: to be the eco-solution provided for plastic waste problems.
Christian came with an idea to create a product that is biodegradable, plastic-free with a fun design. “If you want to educate people about serious issues, you have to deliver it in a fun way,” he says.
