Arnaud de Puyfontaine is the CEO of Vivendi, one of Europe’s most successful media companies, as well as the chairman for Telecom Italia.
Vivendi is a company primarily focused on digital entertainment. Several subsidiaries over a variety of sectors are part of the Vivendi’s umbrella, such as Canal+ Group, Universal Music Group, Editis, Havas, Gameloft and Dailymotion. Within the Vivendi group, Arnaud holds the titles of chairman of the management board of Vivendi; member of the supervisory board of Canal+ Group, member of the supervisory board of StudioCanal, chairman of the supervisory Board of Universal Music France.
Arnaud holds international ambitions for the Vivendi group, preparing to compete with Netflix in the European market. He places music at the heart of Vivendi’s business operations. With minority stakes in Spotify and a new product, MusicAlly, in the market, Arnaud hopes to also become a global leader in the music industry.
Arnaud studied at the ESCP Europe, Institut Multimédias and the Harvard Business School. Chevalier is in the National Order of Merit and the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, as well as holds the title of Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).
