Andra began her career in the financial services industry, working in both consultancy and analytical positions. She has over fifteen years of experience in the market, leading teams on a wide array of projects, from system implementation to new technology evaluation.
Her first solutions architect role was for IBM in their Financial Services Business Lab. She then moved on to advising Ernst & Young on virtual currencies before becoming the lead solutions architect in Lloyds Banking Group’s Digital Innovation Lab. In these labs, Sonea was able to bring ideas to life through experiments with clients and ideas from research.
Andra is currently a fellow of the Anthemis Group. Its objective is to create a high-value “ecosystem” for start-ups and individuals that are spearheading disruption in the financial services sector and to facilitate a connection between those people. She is also an architect at 11FS and is a PhD candidate at the University of Warwick.
