When it comes to social media branding, YouTube star Alfie Deyes has been pioneering the concept for several years. Named as one of “12 Web-Savvy Entrepreneurs to Watch” by Yahoo! In 2013, Deyes’ profile has since skyrocketed to what is now a hugely influential online presence.
Unlike many other self-described YouTubers, Alfie Deye’s hasn’t become bound to one particular subject or area. According to the young author, entrepreneur and property investor, maintaining a positive and consistent relationship with his audience is the key. Despite many opportunities coming his way – including the publishing of three best-selling books – Deyes has recognised vlogging, blogging and social media ventures as the root of his growing success.
In January 2014 Deyes was featured on the front page of Company Magazine for a “Generation Youtube” feature. Indeed, Alfie Deyes embodies exactly what we mean when we use that phrase. Deyes has collaborated with other YouTube stars across the world including Tanya Burr, Louise Pentland, Jim Chapman and Zoe Sugg (who is also his girlfriend), whilst releasing successful video content featuring household names such as Ariana Grande.
Deye’s status as a leading influencer was reflected in Debrett’s prestigious 500 list, which recognised him as one of the most influential young people in the UK in 2015.
